Crown Chakra

Definition of Crown Chakra

Also known as Sahasrara in Sanskrit, the crown chakra is located at the top of the head. A chakra is a nerve bundle, known in Sanskrit as a nadi. Energy enters and leaves through these centers through our energy field. Emotions related to our crown chakra include peace, spiritual understanding, and unconditional love. This is the chakra that allows us to connect with deceased loved ones, spirit guides, and our higher self. The color of this chakra is generally white or light pink. It is the seventh chakra. Certain crystals can help stimulate or open this chakra as well as certain foods, mantras, yoga poses and breathing techniques.
