New Moon

Definition of New Moon

When the moon appears as just a sliver in the sky, this is called a “New Moon”. Earth’s Moon is always in motion. It spends approximately 28 days travelling through each of the Zodiac signs. As it does, depending on where it is in relation to the Sun on any given day, it carries a certain amount of light. During a New Moon, that amount of light is minimal.

The New Moon period of every month is an opportunity for new beginnings. During every New Moon period, focus on the new beginnings that you want to manifest in your life over the next 28 days.

Conjunct

When two planets are in the same area of the zodiac in an astrology chart, they are said to be conjunct. This alignment is called a conjunction. It is usually a positive influence in a birth chart or a transit report unless one planet is trying to dominate the energy of another.
