Definition of Square
A square is a challenging astrological aspect, but it doesn’t have to be a bad thing. A square is formed when one planet makes a 90 degree angle to another. This can happen between two planets in transit, or between two planets in your natal chart, or when one transiting planet makes an aspect to a natal planet. A square is more influential when a transiting outer planet makes the aspect to a natal inner planet.
This aspect is another one that is easier to understand than we think. When you “square off” with someone in life, chances are, the conversation or experience didn’t go very well. This is the same thing when two planets are square to each other.
A square in your chart or forecast is an illustration of a point of contention or tension. We all need some tension in our life as these experiences are the tests we must undergo in order to fulfill our higher purpose, but going through these tests isn’t any fun. However, if we can have a look ahead of time at our daily forecast, or our birth chart, to see where these squares are going to appear in our life, it can make preparing for them a little bit easier.
TERM OF THE DAY
Look around you, at the items in your everyday life. Your desk has 4 legs. Your car has 4 wheels. Your cellphone has 4 corners. This is the epitome of the number 4. It represents stability, reliability, and purpose. Its energy is grounded, secure, dependable. If a leg came off your desk, so that it only had 3 legs, it would be unbalanced. It's the same in numerology.Read the full Number 4 definition
