Talisman

Definition of Talisman

A talisman is any item that is carried by a person to help to protect them from harm or enhance their good fortune. Nearly any symbol can be used as a talisman. You can make one yourself or have your priest or magical person like a shaman make one for you. They can be simple, or ornate. The magic is in what you believe, not what the talisman does for you.
