Definition of Tarot
Tarot is a deck of 78 cards, each featuring a unique symbol, that is used to answer questions predict future events.
The word Tarot is derived from the Italian and French words Tarocchi and Tarock from the fifteenth century, when the cards were used for fortune telling.

"Reversed" is a term used when reading the tarot cards, or any other card oracle, such as angel cards, etc. A card is said to be reversed when the images on the card appear upside down.
