Transit

Definition of Transit

An astrological transit refers to the physical path of a specific planet, in relation to another destination or with another planet in the Zodiac.

Since planets are in motion all of the time, they move through the Zodiac sign constellations in the sky. Some planets move slower and some move faster. Jupiter, for example, stays in one sign for a whole year, but Earth’s Moon travels through the entire zodiac in one month. A journey between two planets can also be a transit. So when Uranus is square Pluto, both planets share this transit.

Waxing Moon

The moon is waxing when it is growing from new to full. This period makes up the first half of the lunar calendar. During this time, the moon will pass through approximately six of the astrological signs. There is much folklore about what activities to do and not to do during a waxing moon.
