Definition of Vedic Astrology

Vedic astrology is the system of astrology in India which is also called Hindu astrology, Indian astrology or Jyotisha. The main difference between Western astrology and Vedic astrology is that Vedic astrology is sidereal and Western is tropical. Also in Vedic astrology, the moon sign is considered the most significant whereas in Western astrology the sun sign is the most highlighted part of the birth chart.

Aspect

The angles, or relationships, between planets, and the moon, in the zodiac or horoscope. As they move through the heavens in their elliptical orbit they form  major aspects conjunct, opposition, square, trine, and sextile. The relationship to each other can be harmonious, dynamic, or neutral depending on their position.
