Definition of Zodiac Sign

Each of the constellations in the Zodiac make up a Zodiac sign. All Zodiac signs (except Libra, the scales) are represented by an animal, hence the Greek word Zodiac, meaning “circle of animals”:

The primary planets, stars and luminary bodies (the Sun and Earth’s Moon) are key parts of the Zodiac. Legend has it that Buddha defined the order of the circle of animals based on the order they finished a race, with Aries, the ram, finishing first and Pisces, the fish, coming in last. It’s also suggested that the age of an individual’s soul is identified by their zodiac sign. Aries’ would be considered the youngest souls and Pisces’ the oldest.

Rat

Rats are intelligent, shrewd, quick-witted, resourceful and adaptable. Rats always flee a sinking ship and the Rat of the Chinese Zodiac is no different – they know how to survive and have a remarkable sense of self-preservation. There is no puzzle they cannot solve and no riddle that eludes them. They are curious and strong-willed, as well as being highly ambitious, striving for success in every area of their life.
