As it moves along, the Moon will trine messenger Mercury, currently in your own sign and 1st House of Action and Self-Expression, shining a light on your own ideas and contributions, and setting you up to make contact with people and concepts far out beyond the horizon.
There are indeed days when you can play it small, but this is not one of them! Look beyond what you know, and you can find some wonderful things as a result.
This is actually the only alignment that will permeate the skies today, and August in general actually gets off to a very quiet beginning, as there won't be any planetary transits until the 6th, giving us all a few days off from any cosmic chaos.
This is especially good news after all the drama that July whipped up, with its constant rounds of groundbreaking transits and Mercury retrograde all wrapped up into one, we could certainly use a break and some time to get our bearings back.
With the Sun in your luxurious 2nd House for the time being, be sure to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the pleasant side of life; you had it particularly difficult lately since you were hosting the Mercury retrograde cycle, so you deserve a few treats.
