Today, however, the planet of Love and Beauty is moving into your luxury-loving 2nd House of Earned Income and Sensory Experiences, encouraging you to stop and smell the roses as much as you possibly can. Since Venus is all about bringing as much beauty into your world as possible, this cycle will inspire you to open your wallet and throw a bit more money around, and it won’t be easy to deny yourself anything at this time, either.
The wisest thing is to set yourself a strict budget while also remembering that there are plenty of free ways to bring beauty into your world, too.
Venus will actually spend much longer in this territory than the customary four-week tour, because she will be turning retrograde here in early October, and will continue to slide backwards until mid-November.
During that time, you may find yourself reconsidering how you spend your money and what you place your value on, and may decide that a lot of things you've acquired or valued in the past simply don't mean all that much to you.
You may also decide it is time to change how you relate to your finances, and that some reorganization is in order. Mercury will also be retrograde here for part of that cycle, so it is important to keep an eye on what comes up for you between now and then, because that is likely to be what requires a second look during retrograde season.
