Jul 23, 2026 - After a confusing couple of weeks, clarity is on the way once again. You’ve had messenger Mercury, the buzziest planet of the zodiac, hitting the snooze button in your 12th House of the Subconscious for an extended stay as it retrograded backwards through this fantastical and ‘hidden’ sector of your chart.
With Mercury not only stationed here but also in retrograde motion, it was doing just about the bare minimum to help you through life and provide you with any clear or useful insight to the pressing matters at hand.
Fortunately, that cosmic chaos ends today as Mercury wakes up once again and begins stretching and doing some yoga poses, getting ready to work its way back up to top speed. It’ll still take a week or two for it to get there, but soon you will be ready to wow everyone around you (yourself included) with your next brilliant idea.
While this may sound like rather sleepy energy, regardless, there is some other, more positive events happening elsewhere in the sky. The Moon is dancing through your 5th House of Pleasure and Creativity, making this the perfect time to leave your problems on the back burner and instead go pursue your passions to the fullest.
This energy is already lovely to work with, but you get a personal boost up when the Moon locks into a special trine with the Sun in your own 1st House of Action and Self-Expression, making it especially easy for you to leap over any barriers or hurdles and sprint off in your preferred direction.
This can be terrific for romantic pursuits, so don’t be shy about letting your heart lead the way, but you can also use this for artistic purposes, meaning you can stand center stage and even hog the spotlight a bit if you like. This is your time, so don’t waste it.
