1. Leo
Leo Dates: July 23 to August 22
The lion is already the “king (or queen) of the jungle.” Thus, it probably comes as no surprise that Leo is ultra-powerful in more than a few ways. Ruled by the Sun, Leo is very in-touch and confident with their sense of self. That is because the Sun represents the Self.

2. Scorpio
Scorpio Dates: October 23 to November 21
A Scorpio is an intense creature to reckon with. They are independent and strong, and you are more or less than likely to get stung if you end up on their bad side.
Scorpio’s planetary rulers include Mars and Pluto, which further accentuates Scorpio’s undeniable ambition and leadership traits. Where Mars rules ambition and passion, Pluto rules power itself. So, it’s no surprise that Scorpio made it to the top of the list of power zodiac signs.
3. Aries
Aries Dates: March 21 to April 19
This Fire sign sure knows how to light up a room. However, Aries fails to take the top two spots here, in part, due to their ruling planet Mars. Mars signifies war and power. Yet, the war portion of this can stand in the way of Aries truly rising up above.
The main problem? Aries lacks satisfaction and always wants more. This can lead to some questionable decisions and very reckless behavior. Thus, while powerful, Aries has to tread lightly to avoid the pitfalls of their power.
4. Capricorn
Capricorn Dates: December 22 to January 21
Don’t mess with a Capricorn. This Earth sign is ruthless at going after what they want.
The planetary ruler of Capricorn is Saturn—ruler of determination, will, and time. While the Sun rules over the planets, it is Saturn who keeps a watchful eye on everything.
