Your chakras affect your health, your energy, your ability to think clearly and your emotional state. These things all control how you experience your life and how others are affected by you as well. If you’re in a good mood all the time, it’s easier to make friends, smooth out disagreements and attract opportunities.
Here is an ancient meditation given by a guru named Yogi Bhajan from India that clears all of your chakras. It is called ‘the greatest divine key’ which can get you connected with cosmic energy. While it sounds interesting to be ‘connected to cosmic energy,’ what practical benefits does that have in your life?
Clear chakras allow you to feel sure of yourself, speak confidently, have sustained energy, better health and a good memory. In a more esoteric sense, having clear chakras allows you to stay connected to your inner wisdom when making major life decisions and even connect to real spiritual guidance from other realms.

Adi Shakti Mantra
This meditation can be done anywhere from 7 minutes to 2 ½ hours. Here is a healing mantra which you can play for free, helping you get the timing right with your breathing. This mantra will also bring balance to the chakras if they are overactive or underactive.
My personal teacher who also studied under this guru before his passing in 2004 told us this mantra amplifies your thoughts as well, so after you do this meditation make sure that you only focus on positive things and exactly what you want to manifest for 24 hours.
Begin in a seated position with your legs crossed. First chant the opening mantra for kundalini yoga 3 times. This mantra means, to the great creative force, we welcome you. You can say it outloud or mentally. The mantra is, “ong namo, guru dev, namo.” That sets your brain into the same state every time you do this meditation.
The meditation will have the strongest effect if you do it for at least 40 days in a row. Go ahead and experiment and see how your life shifts. Think of it like a vitamin. You wouldn’t take it for just one day and throw the rest of them away right?
For the entire meditation you will make a mudra with your hand by pressing your thumb and pointer finger together. Your eyes will be closed and you will focus on each chakra associated with each part of the mantra. Also, keep your chin pulled slightly back the entire time so your neck lines up with your spine.
This is called a neck lock and it allows the energy to flow up and down your spine. You will take in a big breath in, as big as you can. As you say ‘Ek’, pull your navel and sex organs up and in (the root lock). Then say ‘Ong’ and focus on your navel in your mind. This is still on the same breath. Still on the same breath say ‘Kar’ and focus on your solar plexus where the ribs meet.
Take your second big breath in, as big as you can. Say ‘Sat’ quickly and focus in your mind’s eye at your heart. On the same breath chant a long ‘Nam’ and focus at the throat. With the last bit of air say ‘Siri’ and focus on your third eye between your eyebrows. Take half a breath of air in and say ‘Wah’ as you focus at the top of your head.
Finally, picture energy coming up and around your body back to the root chakra as you chant ‘Hey Guru.’
This mantra is a total of 2 ½ breath cycles. After you complete the time you’ve decided to do the meditation (I like to do 31 minutes), seal the energy of your meditation by chanting ‘Sat Nam,’ 3 times. This is how you conclude your meditation. Kundalini yoga is one type of yoga that works directly on your energy field and emotional state.
It is popular among celebrities and entrepreneurs as well as those in recovery or those with a busy lifestyle because it’s powerful and people quickly see results in how they feel and what they are able to manifest with a strong energy field and laser like focus from meditation charged by breath work and mantra.
Conclusion
Your body is an instrument which can play tones in different cavities. Mantras help us create new brain patterns and organized disturbed energy in our field. The mantras also stimulate our pineal and pituitary glands. The pineal gland is linked to the third eye and is considered the gateway to the soul as well as other spiritual realms.
Practice chanting this mantra daily to help open your third eye and spiritual connection. The mantra means, “One creator created this Creation. Truth is His Name. Great beyond description is His infinite wisdom.” Kundalini yoga is not a religion but a technology to unlock your own energy to co-create with the universe and expand your consciousness.
While religious people do practice it, it is about the subtle energy of the body and what yogis found would regulate and open it over 5,000 years of dedicated practice and study of the nature of reality.
Your chakras can become blocked from your posture, lack of movement in certain areas, stress or stuck emotions. Blocked chakras can affect our health in the associated areas of the body. It’s important to take care of your energetic and emotional well being just as it is important to care for your physical health.
