This week begins on a rather complicated note, as the Sun and Saturn form one of their twice-a-year squares on Monday, the 6th. Saturn is currently spinning along through your own sign and 1st House of Action in the relatively early stages of a tour that will last until April of 2028, while the Sun is making its regular annual visit to Cancer and your 4th House of Family and Foundations, shining a light on your interior world. During this transit, you may experience a strong dissonance between what you feel and what you express. Are you open with your emotions or do you hide them at any given chance? Do you express them in a mature fashion, or are you still rather childish about it? It’s time to get in touch with your roots, and face reality.

Your 1st House comes into focus again on the 7th, when Neptune turns retrograde in your sign until December. Neptune can help you grow and spiritually evolve, but it can also create illusions wherever it goes, so this retrograde cycle will help you acclimate any new growth you’ve experienced over the last few months, while also being more realistic about your approach to the world. Don’t think all the magic in the world will disappear, but it’s time to see things plainly and clearly, and that certainly includes yourself.

The next big change of the week arrives on the 9th when Venus leaves Leo and moves into Virgo and your efficient 6th House of Work and Wellness, smoothing out your daily life and bringing a sense of relief and helpfulness in her wake. For the next four weeks, you’ll find more enjoyment in your work and responsibilities, even if you normally prefer to avoid them like the plague; this is also a great time to start a new workout routine or healthy eating initiative, so just because the year is more than half over doesn’t mean you can’t renew your resolutions. Come the 12th, the Sun and Mercury will conjoin in your 4th House of Home and Family, which could bring up some family conversations or matters to parse through with a relative or roommate. It could also be a good day to host a few friends for a fun evening at your place; the only thing to remember is that Mercury is retrograde so you’ll probably be dealing with topics that have already been on the table, as opposed to initiating new projects. Likewise, instead of beginning any new renovation or redecorating projects, simply collect ideas that you can sit with for a bit and consider, while holding off on implementing them until Mercury turns direct on July 23rd.
