This is not the week to rush ahead into anything, Aries. First, on the 30th, life takes a rather mysterious turn as Mercury enters secretive Scorpio and your transformative 8th House of Shared Resources and Deep Bonding for the next couple of months. The 8th House is very secretive territory where we like to keep our cards close to our chest and operate behind closed doors, largely because this area rules many of the most dramatic aspects of life: sensual relationships, death (literal but more often metaphorical), and major finances, including everything from bonuses to taxes, inheritances to credit card bills, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself dealing with a few of these hot-button issues in the coming weeks. You should move especially carefully when diving into any of these subjects, as Mercury will be turning retrograde in Scorpio late in October, so there is no need to rush ahead; get a lay of the land before you attempt to make your mark on it!

The 3rd brings a rather different shift in the skies, as loving Venus will turn retrograde for the first time since early 2025, and will remain so until November 13th, when she will turn direct once again. She will actually begin this phase in Scorpio and your intense 8th House, but will eventually back up into Libra at the end of October to finish out this cycle in your people-pleasing 7th House. Until then, the important thing to remember is that your intimate relationships might be put under a little more strain than usual, as issues of bonding and barriers come up for inspection. Since this same sector deals with important financial matters, you will want to be extra careful with the purse strings while Venus is retrograde; she is normally great at attracting resources your way, but can have the opposite effect when she is asleep as the wheel like this, and since the 8th House governs large sums of money, the last thing you should do is be free and easy with your finances.

You may feel like you’re hitting a wall of some kind on the 4th, as the annual Sun-Saturn opposition comes into aspect. The Sun is in Libra and your 7th House of Relationships, while Saturn is in the midst of a roughly three-year tour of your sign and your 1st House of Action that will come to a close in April of 2028. On this particular day, you and a special someone could wind up butting heads over a matter, be it for better or for worse. A romantic partner or spouse could bring some difficulty your way, or perhaps you and a business partner simply aren’t seeing eye-to-eye. Whatever it is, try to maintain your cool because this transit is only temporary and you and your plus-one will indeed be able to figure out a solution with time and patience. This may feel especially icky in the moment, since Venus happens to rule Libra and the 7th House and is simultaneously retrograde, so that probably won’t make things any gentler.
