Aries Weekly Horoscope

This is a week of transitions, Aries, one of beginnings and endings and new cycles. On the 22nd the primal Sun blasts out of Cancer and of your foundational 4th House of Home and Family and jumps into Leo and your expressive 5th House of Passion and Creativity for its annual visit. This 30-day cycle is all about enjoying life and the beauty it has to offer, so don’t be surprised if work or other serious matters are the last thing on your mind for the time being, while romantic or artistic pursuits will take the lead. That being said, if you really want to find some new way to earn a few extra dollars or make professional progress, see if you have any talents or hobbies you could turn into more than just a hobby. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how much your paintings or poems fetch when the right customer comes along.

It would be understanding if you have felt out of your depths the last couple of weeks, all thanks to Mercury spinning backwards in retrograde formation through your 4th House of Emotions and Family. During this time your focus would largely be oriented towards matters around the house and dealing with lots of internal issues; on the 23rd, however, Mercury wakes up from this position and gets back to work; it may take a week or two while he does some stretching and gets down a few cups of coffee, but he’ll be back to his old self soon enough and what that means for you is that you’re going to be feeling much better and less bogged down that you have in some time. Not only will that lighten your emotional load, but it’s going to give you more energy to devote to other matters, so there’s two things to be thankful for.

Things do take a slight turn for the serious on the 26th, but before you get worried at the very thought of that, know that this is actually the beginning of a very important phase of growth and maturation. On Sunday, Saturn, the planet of karma and structure, will turn retrograde in your sign for the next five months, backing up your 1st House of Action until mid-December. This retrograde phase will bring to light a lot of matters that have been keeping you restricted or stuck, and force you to deal with them, especially if you’ve been slacking off lately. Keep your eyes peeled because it is time for you to grow up, but when you do that then the Universe will be more than willing to send you wonderful new opportunities to enjoy life because you put in the necessary effort.
