May 17, 2026 - Two heads are better than one, or so they say. You’ve been putting in the work and trying to streamline your life while Mercury, the cosmic communicator, made its annual visit to your efficient 6th House, but that cycle comes to a close today as Mercury packs its things and moves on to your 7th House of Relationships for the next couple of weeks.
This can be a wonderful time for initiating meaningful new connections while also giving plenty of attention to the important people already in your life, and don’t think the nature of the connection is all that important; this sector rules romantic partnerships, but it also impacts professional alliances as well as close friendships, so there are lots of options on the table at the moment.
This is also a great cycle for hashing out any important contracts or deals, as you can be sure that everyone will get treated fairly.
However, almost as soon as Mercury enters this new territory, it will form a conjunction to rebel Uranus, who has been spinning along through this sector since the end of April, so someone important in your life could bring a surprise or two your way–something Uranus loves to do since it rules surprises.
That doesn’t mean it will be a bad surprise, in fact you could absolutely love the results, but it’s best to keep an open mind to the possibilities. You may also meet someone new who totally blows you away with their unique nature.
This transit can be very romantic, but the 7th House governs all sorts of partnerships, including business and platonic ones as well, so focus more on dynamic duos and less on what kind of duos they are, if you catch my drift.
